FOOD | blueberry pancakes

Well, I started out make Blueberry Pancakes just about every Saturday morning for breakfast. I used the recipe from this children's book "Old Black Witch" by Wende Devlin. Loved this recipe to death. Then as as adult. I just happen to catch the CBS Sunday Morning show and saw the "Batter Blaster" instant pancake and waffle mixture. Not that, I'm putting down in anyway "Aunt Jemima" but, I felt that this was good for single people. Who didn't want to have around the kitchen a box but a aerosol can for the fridge. For instant pancakes and waffles and perhaps a taste for some Belgium Waffles. Then, I decided to add some organic blueberry's from my favorite Kroger's store. WOW! Delicious!

design + style | cars

Well, this is kinda funny especially for me. I don't know if people every experiences anything like this. But if you do then you know what I'm going thru. Here we go! Back in the nineties a car came on the scene. The car "Audi TT". My mind and eyes zero in on this car. Then soon after that, I saw the "Audi TT" every where. Walking down the street, crossing the street, coming out of the subway, etc. etc. The "Audi TT" would just appear as if out of thin air. As I'm crossing the street that car the "Audi TT" would have just stop for the light or is driving down the street. Of course that happen in NYC. Now in my new city the same thing happens. I'm on the look out. My eagles eye is searching the landscape. I sense this car in the air and it just appears. It just turned the corner. It just drove pass me. I scream at myself and say "One day I shall own one." Another thing happens when I'm driving out of town. Is that the "Audi TT" greets me. Is this faith or "The Secret." My last encounter so far was at a Home Depot store. A white 2010 model, I believe from a distance was about five rolls from my parked car. I tell you. I can spot them a mile away. All I know is that I want to OWN this "Audi TT." And one day it SHALL HAPPEN!
The "Audi TT" has a nice style with very clean lines, looks like a body or better yet a cloud. All I know is that, I just to want to make out. Oh, I forgot to mention listening to some Sade as I'm driving down a road. Something like Smooth Operator.

Here are more cars I admire for clean simply feminine lines they are the Mercedes-Benz E350 and VW Eos. Simply, simply beautiful! They are eye catchers. Guess what, I like the "Smart Car" also.

travels to | italia

This blog is about the adventures in my life the good/bad parts of living in this world. My trips to my beloved Italia. I travel to Italia twice for a total of six weeks all in the month of October. Italia, buon Italia, amo Italia. I love this country. I believed that I once lived here in my past life. For some reason I knew were to go. I wanted to kiss the ground I just landed on. Via it be Delta Airlines, thank you. I took the subway into city, marvel at the ancient ruins I saw out the windows. I traveled to Roma, Roma I said to myself. While in Roma. I found a couple of pairs of shoes [4 for $500.00 each] by Fausto Santini a truly divine shoe/handbag artistry designer. I had to chase down one pair of shoes by him. I finally found the pair in Milano, wow that was some train excursion I'll say. I had fun, fun, fun on those mopeds, being escorted around the city. Next, I'm traveling to the rolling hills/valleys of this great artistic city of Florenza. Home to [David!] Great handbag and leather goods shopping in Florenza. Another great handbag store to shop while traveling all over Italia is Mandarina Duck But, the ultimate city for me was Venezia [the city of love] my true home coming. The home of a true Libran. The city of love is beautiful, words can't describe how I felt about this city. It's in the air, the architecture, the food, the decor at top the buildings. It was breathe taking. I can see from its past that it was indeed a great city. Full of adventures with every turn down walking the canals. A great mysterious place of love and romance. The enchantment of its people and the buildings all have a story to tell. Did I tell you that. I had my very own [Madonna] "Like a virgin" singing in my head. Trip down the grand canal all by myself in my personal gondola ride. I could have walked for days criss crossing the canals. Making my way across every inch of the water city of live. Retracing my past life of living in Venezia, Italia. Great shopping for Venezia/Murano glass, all over the place. Oh well so time to catch the train to Milano to see the great DaVinci and fine that pair of shoes I want. Ciao, for now! [Belize may be next?]
