travels to | italia

This blog is about the adventures in my life the good/bad parts of living in this world. My trips to my beloved Italia. I travel to Italia twice for a total of six weeks all in the month of October. Italia, buon Italia, amo Italia. I love this country. I believed that I once lived here in my past life. For some reason I knew were to go. I wanted to kiss the ground I just landed on. Via it be Delta Airlines, thank you. I took the subway into city, marvel at the ancient ruins I saw out the windows. I traveled to Roma, Roma I said to myself. While in Roma. I found a couple of pairs of shoes [4 for $500.00 each] by Fausto Santini a truly divine shoe/handbag artistry designer. I had to chase down one pair of shoes by him. I finally found the pair in Milano, wow that was some train excursion I'll say. I had fun, fun, fun on those mopeds, being escorted around the city. Next, I'm traveling to the rolling hills/valleys of this great artistic city of Florenza. Home to [David!] Great handbag and leather goods shopping in Florenza. Another great handbag store to shop while traveling all over Italia is Mandarina Duck But, the ultimate city for me was Venezia [the city of love] my true home coming. The home of a true Libran. The city of love is beautiful, words can't describe how I felt about this city. It's in the air, the architecture, the food, the decor at top the buildings. It was breathe taking. I can see from its past that it was indeed a great city. Full of adventures with every turn down walking the canals. A great mysterious place of love and romance. The enchantment of its people and the buildings all have a story to tell. Did I tell you that. I had my very own [Madonna] "Like a virgin" singing in my head. Trip down the grand canal all by myself in my personal gondola ride. I could have walked for days criss crossing the canals. Making my way across every inch of the water city of live. Retracing my past life of living in Venezia, Italia. Great shopping for Venezia/Murano glass, all over the place. Oh well so time to catch the train to Milano to see the great DaVinci and fine that pair of shoes I want. Ciao, for now! [Belize may be next?]
